m: Voo Doo Jam Pre-Jam Day Recap!

Hey Yo!
So It's been two days that I'm on the American territory, In New Orleans.
Yesterday was pretty busy!
I woke up at Scott after a really good night, dude I had to recover from so much travelling! Got a breakfast and then went to the contest place. I got in the car with the ESPN guy that is going to film the event! so good to get coverage there!
Scott organised a private session at the contest place for pros only! It was pretty good to have more time than previous years to get used to the floor! Scott and his crew put it together in the club and then I went Check-In at the hotel with Terry. It took like and hour or so and we got really mad! (pictures :)
Then Scott picked us (Japaneses, Terry, me...) to head to the prejam! What a surprise, so much rider, a HUGE Red Bull DJ truck for the music, free cold ass drinks! So cool day! I broke my axle and got a pretty gnarly hand injury, but Pete Brandt provided me an axle! cool dude. I think there will be some pretty cool videos released soon of that day. That was like 50 degrees celsius! ahaha
We eventually came back to the hotel and I head to the roof top swimming pool!! If all contests could do like this... Good hotel, contest down the stairs, pool, bitches everywhere! ahaha ewelcome to New Orleans!!! Then we all got to a traditional sea food restaurant in the French Quarter and head to Bourbon street to get some drinks. Not a lot though because contest is today!!!
I'll try to get back to my hotel room after the qualification to let you know who's riding the final tonight.

Ca fait maintenant 2 jours que je suis chez les Gros Ricains!
Hier ça à été encore bien remplie, Levé chez Scott après une bonne nuit, petit Déj à L'americaine (Café-Doughnuts-Coke) et puis direction le spot du Contest. Scott avait organisé une sorte de session privé pour les pros uniquement, histoire de s'habituer au sol, un peu beaucoup glissant de la boite de nuit qui acceuil le contest.
Après ça, on se balance à Check-in L'hotel avec Terry, ça a pris environ 1 h parce que la receptionniste, je pense, n'avait pas tiré son coup la veille, et était pas décidé à coopérer, du coup on a boudé avec Terry (photo).
Un leger repas au subway et hop direction la pre jam dans un spot au soleil. Belle surprise, pleins de riders étaient déjà la bas en train de rouler sous 50 degrés, un gros camion DJ Red Bull pour la musique, des boissons fraiches pour tous le monde, le top! bon, J'ai cassé mon axe et me suis redéfoncé la main, mais bon...
Après ça rentrage à l'hotel direction la piscine sur le toit de l'hotel! Si tous les contest pouvaient être comme ça! Hotel avec la piscine, le contest juste en bas, des filles partout... Taah. Après ça, direction le "French quarter" et un restaurant de fruit de mer typique de la Nouvelle Orleans! Et puis le Rituel, passage oblige à Bourbon street pour quelques bierres avant d'aller tranquilou se coucher, faut pas déconner, Il y'a compète aujourd'hui!
